On Friday 11th of April 2014 45 people attended our first
fundraising event at Bill's restaurant in Reading.
The evening started with a champagne reception before, dinner and
wine. During dinner the team gave a couple of presentations about the project and the Learning Planet's activities in Nepal.
The evening was concluded with some cake and probably the best
ever raffle! Never before has a raffle been accompanied by so much
chanting!
We raised an amazing £1,087.50!! This has been an amazing first boost to our fundraising efforts and really sets us on our way to reaching our target.
